Great looking car, I wanted to mount a single up front like you but got lazy and bought an ECS kit. In for results

Dude, that is looking effing killer. The stock repro rears with the Racemasters(?) are cool as hell. I'd feel bad even putting a hood back on it.

Totally understand on the cash front. I came off active duty 2+ years ago and was trying to build a track-happy C6 on NCO pay too. Gotta scrimp and save. You're making killer progress. Stick with it.

Started getting it all dialed in today, so far we're at 585whp/560wtq at 4.5lbs of boost (wastegate spring)

It made 700/680 or so on 8lbs and pump gas/meth and we'll leave it there for awhile, I bought some ls9 gaskets, arp headstuds and race fuel but the shop got busy doing some other things. Good news is that the car dead hooks every gear with those tires. It almost makes it not fun.

Very nice, I'm sure it's a beast. I just wanted to see where you were at power wise. I'm currently building a setup with the same turbo except with a T6 1.32. I'm putting the turbo in the drivers fender since I have a Z06. I'll be shooting for 850-900whp on 6-8psi with 13.1 compression on E85. I'll post up my results when it's finished.

You test fitted it yet? Didn't realize there was that much room behind the fenders. That's a big turbo

Yea you just need to remove the windshield washer reservoir. I test fitted it with a GT4508R it should be around the same size, fit just fine.

That might be doable with the bigger engine. I know Sean's car made 850 on 8lbs but it was on a 91mm-ish turbo not a baby 80. My e-racer math says if we added e85 and some timing I'd be about 750 or so maybe, but I'm still on stock heads and only a 364ci...so what you are looking for is more than doable I would think.

This build is awesome! Have you thought about reproducing it? I am sure plenty of people from the forum would be interested in a setup like this. I have been on the fence about going with an ECS kit or turbo. I like the idea of having a turbo up front if it could fit with AC and use stock exhaust exit like yours.

I'm building an ERL 383 Stroker Motor with an S480 T6 1.32 4" downpipe, FLT Level 6 A-4 on a C5 Corvette. What type of HP do you think I will make on E-85?

MSD Intake...
