I do have a bit of a question with the use of the stock block and the conversion spindles. Not so sure the stock block is the right choice, and the 15 inch conversion is DEF not money well spent if you plan on keeping the stock rear end.

We all have budgets for sure, what I'm getting at is maybe ditch the 15 conversion and put it towards an upgraded rear? The 15 conversion is done for more sidewall and a better bite....something your rear won't take for sure. Just a thought, no hating.

Def can't wait for pix and more info.

I thought about ditching the spindles for the moment and doing the rear end, but I really don't want to have any traction issues on the highway. I don't expect the rear end to last long just needs to last for tx2k and I will upgrade it. Pictures will be up soon!

Transmission I have been talking to PATC on buying all the transmission parts to build it.

Little change of plans on the motor.
We decided to run a 6.0 iron block instead of the ls3. So now it will be a
Thompson Motorsports 370
Tms forged crank
Tms h beam rods
Diamond -2cc pistons
Arp 2000 rod bolts
Arp main stud kit
Cnc ported ls3 heads
Brian tooley 650 lift valve springs
Toms big boost cam
Billet timing set
Stock rockers with the trinion upgrade.
Arp head studs
Compression will be 11.3 ish. Fuel will be E85 only.
Motor should be to me on February 4th.
Turbo pics coming soon.

Added a few more pics to the first post. Ac condenser was cut Down a few inches,
custom radiator bracket and the crossover pipe in place. Getting close to the end. Waiting on a few clamps to build the custom 4 inch down pipe that will exit the front bumper.

My definition of budget with this car is cut cost where I can and Spend the money on good parts where it is needed.
Some of these builds on here are all out 50-60k builds. lol
I am Doing all the labor myself aside from the turbo kit fabrication.
I work at a performance shop so i know how far 20-30 grand will get you paying retail for parts and paying someone to install it all.
I hope to have nowhere near that in mine and still be able to out run them!
