Default MP112 to MP122 Swap - anyone with personal experience?

Does anyone here have first hand experience with the MP112 to MP122HH upgrade? As I understand it, back when Magnuson did the service they transferred over the basic items from your 112 onto the 122 main blower body. Does anyone know if they used the same jack shaft?

I'm looking for an answer specific to the C6. Does anyone out there currently run a MP122?

I did the swap on one if my trucks, but that was a front drive and a long time ago. I sent it into Magnuson along with $1250 and they just changed the actual blower and reused the drive, intercooler, etc. I'd bet they would do something similar on yours. I believe you also get the 122 in the "HH" style. I don't think they make a 122 in any other style. It's a nice upgrade especially if you don't already have the MP112 with the high helix rotors.

Brian Z at SuperchargersOnline dot com can tell you for sure. He used to work for Magnuson and is a whole lot easier to get in contact with vs Magnuson.

Good info thanks. The trucks are different than the C6 with the way the jack shaft mounts to the inlet snout. With the body being .8" longer I'm assuming I will need a longer jack shaft to fit, but finding facts online is almost impossible.

Yeah, the truck MP112, 122, 1900, and 2300 are all front drive. No jackshaft involved. I still have a front drive truck TVS2300 and had a rear drive LS3 Vette TVS2300 until the fall of 2013. The blower case looked the same to me, but it's been a while and the MP112/122's may be different. Brian can get you the info you need.

This is going back a few years when I had my 112, but I remember guys that swapped to the 122HH found that their RK hoods not longer fit. The needed to be modified (notched) at the rear hood cross brace to clear the 122 rear belt drive.

So today I finally received the MP122 jackshaft from SCOL - placed the order on 1/16!! After multiple emails and calls I finally got somebody on the phone about 10 days ago. Still got no answer on what the hold up was but two days later I got a shipment notification. Took a week later to get to me.

Now that I have it the paperwork says what they sent is for a MP112 - not a 122!! Arghhhh!!! Not even what I asked for. Can anyone out there help me confirm the correct part # for a MP122 C6 application ??? Wondering maybe the paperwork is just wrong and the part is right?

Bump - does anyone out there actually have one of these on their car right now? I really need some reference measurements from a C6 application.

Many thanks
