From a MT rep on yellowbullet:

Yes - going from the P275/60R15 ET Street Radial Pro to the P325/50R15 ET Street R, I would expect to see an improvement in traction.

Thanks,

As soon as I kill my normal 325 ET streets I'll swap to the Rs. After 2 years I finally rehooked the 1 wire to trigger my line lock that I left off when I swapped center consoles so copious burnouts can now commence and I can swap tires soon.

Jegs has them shipping out Monday. I'll probably give the 315/35/17s a try after I buy some Welds. Hopefully they'll hold, not planning on going to 15s.

I called and they said they receive their first stock Monday. If they have some ready, I'm going to buy them.

They were way off on those estimates years ago when i bought my lsa heads

The 305/45r17 ET Street R should work excellent on a base coupe. Might have to try a set when my 295/45r17 ET Street II wear out.

I plan to try those too. They are a little taller then I would like but should work well at around 850whp

Can't wait to hear what you think of them. I also wish they made something a little shorter like a 295/45r17 but they should hook awesome.

Anyone know if the et street r is better in rain? That's what I heard. Also how long do you guys think these tires would last?

ET street R will be terrible in the rain. There is basically no tread at all. I think if you want something that will last alright and do alright in the rain the ET street II is probably the option for you.

No. You are thinking of the ET Street S/S which will be out later in fall. It is supposed to be more street friendly then the R or current DRs.
