Default Punching out cats on Kooks LT Headers

I posted in the tech forum as well. I thought I may get more responses here. What is the best method since the cat is made of metal? Would an air chisel be my best bet?

I've seen a recommendation to use one of those wood boring drill bits before.. A long one preferably. And a pipe + hammer

That may work on a factory converter, but hi flow converters are metal. It would ruin a wood bit.

Long wood bore bit. The fatter the better. Yes you have metal in there, but its not solid, its a honeycomb.

Drill multiple holes all the way through. Then use a metal rod and a hammer to knock out the rest.

I often times will heat the outside with a torch as well.
