Most likely. I haven't done the research yet. But i want to be on kill without pushing the blower over its limits.

If you push that blower to what your setup is capable of, I am very curious how that trans will hold up. Have a feeling a glide might be in your future.

I'll never have a glide for how much they cost. The weakest link is the clutches. I have a performance transmission shop 1000 feet from my house that'll put clutches in it. The 300m shafts are the same as the ones that are put in the build tr6060 trans. I do think I will be going through allot of clutches though. Luckily Ive had the trans and rear end out of the car so many times. I could probably do it in a hour or two. I could put clutches in the 6l80 60 times or rebuild the entire trans 10 times for what it cost to convert to a powerglide.

I totally understand the cost factor. I guess if you don't mind the work and car being down that's one way to look at it.
Have no clue what shafts you are referring to. The only upgraded shaft I'm aware of is the intermediate shaft. Are there others available ??

The way I look at it is. Im either going to spend more time at work to pay for the ridiculridiculously priced pg conversion or spend more time in the garage replacing clutches. Im going to be working either way.

Size comparison of the F1X compared to the 2200R/YSI. I couldn't capture the difference in pictures but the F1X looks so much bigger in person compared to the 2200r.

Still a couple weeks away before the chassis shop can work on my car so I decided to polish my blower.

I also ordered a Dallas Performance f1x 10 rib billet bracket and their 4.5" big mouth filter. I'll need a 2" cut down radiator for it to fit. Only problem is I don't want to spend $1,000 on a new radiator and fan setup. While I'm waiting for my parts to arrive. I decided to lower my radiator myself. I took out the radiator support. Cut off the brackets and lowered them approximately 1 1/4" down and 3/8" forward. I also have ECS radiator support 1" spacers. I also trimmed the rubber bushings 5/16". After finishing I can't believe how much it lowered the radiator.

Before cutting off brackets

After:

After I took this picture I grinded the bushing down to make it level.

With more adjusting I believe I can drop it down another 1/2".

You can see where the top bracket use to be. Im definitely at least 2 1/2" lower.

I've been waiting 3 weeks for my supercharger bracket. It was suppose to be delivered today. I came into work today even though I could of had the day off just to get the bracket. Open the box and half of it is missing. This is probably the 10th time this has happened. From different vendors. Its going to be over a month before I get to mount my head unit.
