Its all water proof, otherwise none of these cars would survive a rain storm. They are all weather pack connectors for the past 20+ years. There is no issue getting a motor wet.

never even considered this... but my car has only been wet maybe 2 times in the past 2 years. This includes washing it!

It won't hurt anything. Connectors nowadays are very robust. Triple seals, etc.

Every single time since I've owned the car, when I wash it, I pop the hood and degrease and wash the engine.

But the black really pops/tones down the yellow so....?
Sorry if I've missed it but did you measure 9" from the top? I feel that the farther down the vent goes, the better it looks? Already got my mine, debating on location....

What about the throttle body, mine has been acting, ever since the car was in a downpour a couple weeks back. I dont know if its related tho.

Looks great Ricardo. I'm thinking of doing this too. Well, more than thinking... committed!
I ordered the vent today. Not sure how long it will take to do it though. Car is still in the paint shop.

This was very easy to do Magik, looks very good, did the liner as well, I want to paint the brackets black, then it'll be done.

Temps are lower. But the biggest improvement is how quick the temp drops from in traffic to when it start rolling..
