Those are the trackspec side vents. Same ones I have. You can get them here. http://trackspecmotorsports.com/shop...ouver-set.html

Had a body shop do mine, think the underside came out really well and has a very clean professional look.

Nice and very clean. I like that you managed to avoid cutting the support in the middle of the hood, and that position doesn't look bad either.

Yeah, I measured before install, and it looked like it should fit, so I asked them to specifically install there to avoid cutting the supports and give it more of a factory look from underneath.

Nice thing with the C6 hoods, they can be sourced often times for 100-200

Does anyone have the top side dimensions. The widest and longest points I want to see how it fits in with my Black strip on the hood.

I have the same intake as you and I love your positioning.

Default I made lights for mine

They really light the engine bay at night for car shows
Theyre in waterproof plastic housings
Taken in my garage with the lights off. There is a fused switch hidden under the hood.

After reading all the way through this thread, I noticed one person said they had a decrease in gas mileage. Can anybody else confirm this?

i noticed zero impact on gas mileage from my track spec vents. can't imagine how these would have material impact on mileage.

I've been thinking about doing this mod ever since I first came across this thread, but haven't quite been sold on the way the "old" Camaro vent looks on our hood. I'm curious if and how the new style would fit. Looking at them, I don't think they would flow as much air for the guys looking for heat reduction, but for me this would primarily be a cosmetic mod. Any increased airflow is just an added bonus.

GM Part # 23403778 and 23403779

Cheapest I have found so far is $89.19 (each) at http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oe-gm/23403779

Example from a late model Camaro:

drew c6 is there a possibility you can do a close-up photo of the actual vent, to see the pattern of it. Those vents really goes well with the contour of the hood.
