Default Cast Aluminum Piston

I thinking of installing a pro charger on my 2013 ZO6.
How much power added can the stock Pistons handle?

Good tune and fuel and I would say around 800-850ish but that's pushing it. I ran 610whp through a stock 4g63 and it had stock cast pistons so I really don't see the problem with 8.

I made a 739 on stock engine nothing goes wrong at all and when I added meth and goes up to 788 everything was more than perfect before I sell everything to go more than 1000hp.

I thought the Z06's were less tolerant of boost?

Pistons are fine. It was the sleeves that are thin.

I can only assume if he's asking if the pistons are weak, he's wanting to know what will break first since that's what typically goes on LS1/6/2/3's

Default ls7

sleeves ls7 is good i run 350shots nitrous for 2 years is fine but

need to change
1- exhaust valve very weak
2- the pistons oem weak after 750rwhp maybe broken any time
3- rods titanium not to much strong

if you want to be safe change only exhaust valve you can go to 700rwhp

Pistons and sleeves are weaker than an ls3, but not that weak. Yes a ls3 can take 100-150rwhp more, but ls7s can make 700-750rwhp all day with enough octane and good tune.
