Default Supercharger Install Oops

While installing my A&A kit today, I accidentally knocked over my radiator fan. When I picked it up the fan blades were left lying on the floor, I couldn't find any broken pieces but I would assume something broke. The local auto parts store can't get a replacement in stock until Tuesday afternoon, my appointment for a tune is Tuesday morning.... so unless the dealership has one in stock on Monday I'm screwed anybody know of a way I can get the fan blades reattached or a "redneck" fix so I can make it to my tune appointment?

Don't those have like a clip or something similar that holds the fan attached to the shaft? Try to google a pic or something. I know lowes or home depot sell clips that may work if that's the case.

There is no clip. The fan blade just turns to lock or unlock. You can barely see the lock stops on the motor shaft in the photo below.

Just hold the fan blade I place and turn the 15mm nut clockwise to install or counterclockwise to uninstall.

That would work but the little tabs that secure it together are broken off. Must have been brittle to break so easily, I already checked the local picknpull with no luck. I'm hoping the dealer has one tomorrow, meanwhile I'm progressing with the rest of the install.

Maybe a local on forum is out there and reads this can lend a helping fan? I think dealer will have it. Id call them now they are usually open sundays.

Good deal! I've never paid attention to it while I've had the fan assembly out. Thanks

I may have confused the clockwise/counterclockwise directions as its been awhile since I've had the fan out and I've already had a few beers, but you can see one of the three locking tabs on the shaft is bigger than the other and the fan has corresponding inserts. Just turn it that direction.
