How much boost on stock ls3?

Boost pressure is not the same as cylinder pressure. Every setup is different, but good fuel helps a lot as said above. E85 will keep temps down in the chambers and you will see less stock ring gap issues, but don't get greedy with timing which is easy to do with e85. The c6 mtGS is about the best platform to start a FI build since it has the stronger rear, trans/diff cooler and forged crank.

I dont want to be a dick, but to me 25PSI on a STOCK bottom LS3 is insane!! It wil survive few passes i guess, But There is NO Way you go on mexico streets, And start to beat the iving **** outta it and it will survive for a decent period! I mean even thogh you have enough fuel, good tune with relatively conservative timing, pressure on rods and statics compression ratio will remain. There is no way a stock cast N/A rods will last on that kinda pressure. We're talking about 800wtq and + on STOCK rods!!! Even a forged LS9 is close to is limit of RELIABLE power handling!!!

It's been an evolution thing.
First someone made 600.... Then 700. Then 830 with nitrous. The 850. Then 875...
Then 900. Vic made 919 with an F1r, then 980 with an x, then 1030. Cammed C6 made 900+
SLP327 made 940, 1004 no Intercooler.
Plenty people making big power
On stock motors. It's all in the gas and the tune up. You can't be silly With it or you'll hurt it.
All of the above are spinning to 7200+

every motor is different...
I've seen 500 RWHP motors grenade. I've seen 900 RWHP take it all day. On average, if you keep it under 700/750RWHP and have it tuned right from what I've read / heard you should be in good shape. Don't target a "boost" number as 10psi on one setup is not equal to 10psi on another setup.

My question is, once you get to power level over 800whp, how do you put that to the ground in Mexico? My nt05r's are sketchy at my measly 700hp.

I see thread is dated 2015. Is Vic's engine still together?
