Do you have any information on the maximum rear/front diameter difference tolerance? The number I see most often is 1.04. However, the NT05R 345/30/19 DR's that are on the car now measure out at 1.06 so go figure. It is very frustrating I can't get definitive information.

I know they list them as 28, but they don't measure that when installed and car is on the ground. I have them on 17X11 Welds.

All I can tell you is that what I run now has a 1.3 inch difference front to back and I have no issues.

My previous PSS tires had about the same difference and no issues there either.

I run a 345/35/18 M&H at over 1000whp and they hook up pretty good on warm days in second gear around 55mph. Definitly the best tire ive tried yet. These are mounted on a 18x12 wheel and fit PERFECTLY.. a 13" wheel would stretch the sidewall in my opinion.

I run the same size tire on the same size wheel and yes, perfect. Im only putting down 715whp but they stick in 2nd easily.

I'm putting down about 700 rwhp on my lowest boost setting in my TTIX twin turbo C6Z ZO7. Not planning to run it on high boost on the street ever, (well maybe 850 rwhp once in a year for a second under perfect conditions).
I'm not interested in ditching my factory carbon ceramic brakes, so the smallest rear wheel I can go with are 18x13s. I'm looking for a rear wheel/tire package now.

What tire manufacturer makes a drag radial for a 18x13 rear wheel?

(I'm hoping to find someone selling used 18x13 rear wheels cuz I'm hurting over the cost of the 1100-1200 rwhp twin turbo build.)

how many miles you think these would last on the street?

my 19" nt05 tires are starting to get a little worn and probably going to move to an 18" rear for traction. hopefully something that would last at least 2-3k miles with a few track days is the goal

Its not unreasonable to be able to get 5k miles out of M&H's depending on usage. Realistically, if you are beating on them you should end up right in that 2,500-3k range.

If I get a season out of them, I am happy....

Any 345 will fit on a 13" wide wheel, but I don't like how it looks. The side walls look stretched instead of flush. Its not a problem to do it though.

I would just recommend having two sets of rear tires.. I run a 275 R888 in the front all the time. But I have two sets of rear wheels that are identical 18x12's. One set has a set of 335 R888's on it, the other has a set of 345/35 M&H Drag Radials. To be honest I hate how the car drives on drag radials, so unless im out looking for a race or at an event I typically run the R888 on the car. They will hook up 3rd gear in most cases and they wear really really well.

Problem with MTs is that they're on back order. I need the pair of drag radials within 3 weeks. I'm ready to purchase today.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...5-30-18-a.html

saw someone selling these 345/18s in the FS section, not sure if BFG DRs are any good but his asking price is pretty low.

I just got my 325/45/17 yesterday. I'll report back once they are on the car.

M&Hs last pretty good on the street. Not a well as an NT05R but they hook a lot better. They also tend to run a bit narrow.

good to know guys, thanks.

Squatch,

that's amazing you can hook 1k whp with r888 in 3rd gear. my car has serious issues hooking 19" nt05r in 3rd unless they are at 21psi and very hot and even then its iffy. I'm only at ~900whp and 860tq too.

Its not like they will hook on a hard down shift.. But if you roll into it in third and the tires are warm as well as the outside temp being warm they will hold pretty well.. If you do a hard downshift to 3rd it will blow them off. All in all the R888 is a pretty good tire though.

Last pull with the car was 1006/875 SAE @6350rpm @ 21psi

Thoughts on NT05R vs. R888? I need to buy some tires soon

M&H 325/17 tire pressure -16psi ---------@ 14psi 2200r 730hp will hook third once warmed up . 1-2nd gear has no chance of grabbing . with 20psi 4th gear grabs but 1-3rd no chance . I really need a 15in drag set up asap . 20psi is 850hp on a mustang dyno
