Here are the exhaust mods.. It was miserable taking the system on and off with slip fittings.

ARH 2" headers, cut and added v-bands and 8 EGT bungs.

Cut and welded the mid pipe, added v-bands, removed the mufflers and ran 3" straight pipes. (the hangers and clamps at the tips are temporary, until I order a set I can weld on)

looks amazing. are you still spraying any methanol for IATs? if so will be interesting to see how your EGTs are looking between cylinders

No meth, just air-to-water so far.

Plan is.. If my Hi-ram ever shows up, to add 2 stages of dry nitrous and see what that does to egt after a mile.

Nice to see relevant EGT sensors...

WB perhaps a bit too close to see not just (two?) individual cylinder(s)?

Anyway, better than nothing!

What are you IATs at the moment?

Yeah spraying a **** load of n2o will cool the intake side off. Might add a few degrees to the EGTs though!

Some more updates.. Unfortunately it looks like this weekends mile and a half event is cancelled due to rain.

I have doubled up on the fire system. (2) 10 pound Firefox bottles. One is feeding 4 nozzles under the hood. The other feeds 2 under the dash and 2 over the stock fuel tanks.

A simple bracket hold the 2 pull handles.

Dual chutes are required over 250 mph.. Also cut up a perfectly good wing from Carlyle Racing to meet our rules. I did add extra struts to the wing due to the speeds we run as well as the fact that we cannot run a wickerbill.

Chute mounts and push bumper. Dual release handles are in the pic above.

changing anything else at the same time or is this next outing going to be a back to back comparison with only the real change being this new intake?

Plan is to spray 2 stages thru the manifold, but I have so many other things to test at the next event (chutes, wing, sensors, aero) not to mention the change to drive-by-cable setup.. I think the spray will wait for another event. Plan right now is to test it on the dyno with the new intake/tb and then to the track in July.

I also have a 4" pulley to throw at it (from 4.25")

Thanks, hopefully the gains are significant at the top end.. But it definitely has to make up for the additional drag the 4.5" cowl hood is going to add!

So only spark/fuel -based traction control now? With Pro-Efi still of course?
