Drag radials for the dyno only?

I just ran the Texas Mile with about the same power, went 220.8 mph.
Congrats on the 220mph at Texas Mile...I am hoping to be somewhere around there at the CO mile in sept.

What timing pointer kit and bracket are you using?

Its a modified Mighty Mouse piece. I had to open up the mounting holes and add new spacers and bolts due to the oversize balancer (his kit was designed to bolt to the timing cover, I am bolted to the block)

I zero'd it with the heads off and scribed and painted a line on the balancer. Taking it off and on zeros pretty well, so I am not sure if its worth leaving on (I'm sure a broken belt will be the end of the pointer.

Default Transmission

How has your transmission held up? Have you considere ed switching to RPM's HD non synchro trans?

Trans has held up extremely well. I have considered upgrading when needed, but dont want to waste the $ if its not broken. We hardly put any miles on it, but they are hard miles!

Back from Maine.. Struggled to get things dialed in, but ended up bumping my record just a bit to 259.5 mph.
I will post up more info and video soon.
Will be ready to run faster by Labor Day.

Once again...thanks for the updates and video. In the video it looked like you changed rear wheel sizes and tires....if so, what size?

I always transport and test on the R888 305-35-18 and race on the R7's 295-40-18

The car is a touch lower in the rear this year, probably looks like more of the wheel well is filled.
