Default Katech High Capacity Scavenge Ported LS3/7/9 pumps

Katech Pump sale

Protect your investment by helping guarantee that it gets the oil it needs.
The factory pumps fall off up top, where the oil is needed most. Katech’s CNC ported pumps have greatly increased the top end flow where it’s the most critically needed.

Direct replacement oil pump for LS7 engines (also fits dry sump LS3s)
-30% greater scavenge capacity (click image for data)
-CNC ported
-Blueprinted to precise tolerances, documented and serialized
-Blue anodized finished with laser-etched Katech
Performance logo
-Pre-lubed
No core needed. Katech rejects a high number of cores as they only accept “perfect cores”.
I have a limited supply. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Normal price is 739.99 Plus shipping.
These are 639.99 shipped to the lower 48.

I understand the difference between higher pressure and higher volume but how do you know which one would be best for your particular motor. Match sells the red and blue ported pumps, what's better for a mostly Street driven motor that will see 7k on occasion?

It's more a matter of preference IMO. You don't want the pressure dropping up top if you can help it and both pumps help that issue. I personally feel that the extra pressure isn't necessary and robs power in the process.
