15 in drag radial/zo6
I'm doing 15in conversion right now. What size and brand is everyone running? My car will see street, dragstrip and maybe a couple half mile events.

None of them are good for all of that.
ET street R is good for track/events, not so much on street.
275 pro same thing. For a lower power car, works better than the street R.
Nitto 555r isn't a bad choice for all of the above depending on power level.
All drag radials suck after a few heat cycles on the street.

They all work good at track when fresh. They all work for first 10 street trips when fresh.
Depends on what you are looking for a street tire. The ET Rs and other super sticky ones hook decent, but wear extremely fast and lose their grip quickly.
Basically if you want to hook, put a fresh set on for each event. Or swap them at the track, and you may get 3-4 events out of them.

Drifting
I've run and currently do run the 325/50/15's Mickey Thompson's several sets and yeah work better when new, but never the solution to traction issues although it helped a ton. The Nitto 555's sucked as far as traction, but did last better than most, the NTO5's worked well for the first 2-3 street outings then spun almost as bad as the Nitto Invo's lol! The M/H racemasters were great at track even with a quite a few miles on them and more predictable on the street as they were very consistent, but not as good as a new set of Mickey's but they did do well and held up longer for the abuse I flogged them with. So no real recommendations as Unreal said a new set for an event is what I've been doing, and like he said I haven't had one work like they do new for any length of time. The M/H's were probably the best as far as length of time and performance, but did't really care for the size choices they've had for my current wheels etc... GL!

ET street R
325/50/15
Great on the track, not so great on the street without a good burnout and dropping them. I actually prefer my 345/35/18 DR's for highway use since I have a lot more stability at high speed and can actually change lanes over 100 mph

How is everyone running TPS with beadlocks? We just did mine up, but had to use valve stem that came with wheels. Beadlock was blocking regular tps valve stem for airing up.

I don't run beadlock and I don't run TPS with the 15s. When I switch over to 15s full time will put the TPS in the rear.
I'm sort of anti-bead lock. 99% of vette people do it for looks, not because they need it. Yes it looks cool, but it doubles the cost of the rims, makes them heavier, and isn't needed in most cases.
