I love to drive, now being 45 minutes from the Tail of the Dragon I go weekly early in the morning or late at niht and enjoy an empty winding road.
I have had this car for 10 years, taken it apart multiple times. I made some mistakes along the way and learned from them.
I never want the car to be automatic, I intend to bring it to the upcoming half mile races in street trim.
I see a lot of people bring out cars that claim to be driven on the road to these half mile events that are clearly not street cars. My car may be loud and missing cats but it can be driven as is across the country. In reality if your car has to be trailered because its missing mirrors, requires taping up seams or cant go more than 5 minutes without overheating it should be in it's own class.

Great build. LSX block is the way to go for high HP.

Looked them up, that's serious. Definitely the next step for me in braking.
Thats awesome! Glad you're out enjoying it
Agreed. Every 1/2 mile I've driven over an hour too, 100+ miles, race all day, drive home. Never even swapped tires or anything at an event. I put a ton of miles on my car. See tons of 1000+hp cars that see 500 miles a year because they overheat, are a pain in the ***, etc. I driven mine to gym daily, to work 2-3 times a week, and to races.

back on the safety issue of sharing space with the fuel cell...
instead of closing off the cockpit to the rear where the fuel cell is, couldn't you just invest in a fuel safe fuel cell? something with a puncture proof bladder? Aero Tech Laboratories makes them good enough for the C6R as well as Nascar... although these cars are separated by a bulkhead... meh, drenched in fuel would suck.
Beautiful car! This car and maybe 1 or 2 others have been pressuring the turbo idea on me for a while now!
