Finally heading to tuning tomorrow, lets play the guessing game

Matt's a great tuner . I have no issue recommending him.

Ok so we left the restrictor in place for now.
Mustang dyno - 600/575...hot day, warm car, blah,blah,etc..
10% OD, 3.6", dual nozzle meth, long tubes, A6.
I haven't been able to touch he car for nearly 6 months so I am extremely happy right now. My first centri car and so far it's way better than I expected it would be. People aren't kidding when they say it literally drives stock until boost hits.
Matt Sorian knows his ****. He and his guys went way above and beyond to get my car back on the road and address issues on the car along the way. I REALLY lucked out with Matt moving to the Houston area.
Drag radials are on the car for now. Up next is cam/springs and converter. Will remove the restrictor at that point too I'm guessing.

UPDATE!
While the car was down to fix a tensioner issue we decided to throw in Matt's small blower cam since I'm sticking with the stock stall for a while.
Tossed the restrictor plate too...
3.6", 10% OD, Alkycontrol dual meth, ECS 1500, long tubes, blower cam =
716/638 on his Mustang dyno.
For those of yall running Torco and the like, which do you prefer and where is the best place to order in bulk?

Amazon, or drive to Torco and get it there.

what boost is that at? 3.6 and 10% od is about 3.25, schpenxel sais 14 psi. so lets say 28/14 x 430 bhb = 860 bhp. 60 bhp blower loss = 800 bhp. that woud be 680 rwhp max. with headders and cam 716 makes sence. but where did the original guesses over 700 without cam come from?
edit: and there was the restrictor too.

I'm seeing a little less now with long tubes, 12.5-13 I'd guess, for whatever that is worth

Real good numbers. I actually saw your car when I took mine to Matt. Beautiful car and sucked seeing it sitting there. I betting you make around 15 or so psi as I made 13.3 with 10%od and 3.8 pulley. We have to get together sometime. I'm going to have to make sure my belt tight, and everything is good on my end to stay with that Auto. Lol
You just going to run Torco for extra insurance or did Matt say something about it?

I was originally thinking it would make more boost previously than it did and also didn't consider Matt has a Mustang dyno.
I never really expected 700 before tho.

Yes, extra insurance as recommended by Matt. Plus I want to actually be able to enjoy the car as long as possible before something explodes lol.

Glad to see you are happy with the results, 700 on the street is a lot of fun.
Southspeed, I am not sure what setup Dimewise is using, but we have 100's of cars on the street at this power level on the base 6 rib set up. Many 9 second passes as well, usually around 9.8 @ 140ish for a build like this still on the stock converter.

Update: Made 1 clean pass last sunday. First time down the 1/4 in 4 years. Beat my previous record of 12.6@112 in my mustang lol.
Drove 45 miles both ways and not a hiccup. Matt dialed the shift points in perfectly too. I'm pretty happy with it for now :P

EDIT: We have almost the exact setup. Where were you at on boost, AFR and spark when coming through the traps?
Me = 11.4AFR on 93+ Torco, 14.2psi, 12*. Got booted for no rollbar and couldn't make another pass

Nice and congrats.... Similar situation for me. Hit 11.7 back in the 70s and 10.3 in the vette over the summer. Took almost 50 years to get into the 10s
