Default Zr1 rear wheels (20x12) tire help - 700rwhp

Hi guys, I may be getting some oem zr1 wheels. Is there any good tire out there that you could recommend to fit the stock rear wheel size (20x12) that will give some decent traction with 700rwhp 650rwtq? Toyo T1R's any good?

I am current running a toyo r888 tire on the rears with tsw nurburgring (19x10.5) wheels. I am happy with the traction they provide but I will be going to a rear widebody conversion soon and love the look of the zr1 wheels.
Advice is appreciated thanks!

Only advice I can offer is the Cup 2 ZP doesn't even come close to holding 650 rwhp. I think the MT ET Street S/S is the only tire in the correct size that has a chance of being useful in a straight line on the street. Unfortunately, those tires have had a lot of bad reviews and are apparently discontinued while MT redesigns them.

I just got a set of the redesigned MT ET Street S/S for the Zr1 rear wheel setup. Haven't had a chance to mount them, but will report back when I do.

How do you know they are redesigned? I contacted MT after seeing this and they told me they were still going through QC.

I would be really excited if they released a revised set.

Were you able to get the tires mounted yet?

Tires were mounted yesterday, but we are having some issues with the fuel rail so the test drive was short. I had it on the highway at about 85 mph and it did not feel stable. I feel some vibration in the rear. Currently I am concerned, but I can't report until i have a good base to test it with.
