Default On3 TT vs CxRacing Single Turbo?

Trying to purchase one of these in the following month or so but can't decide on which! AC is no problem for me since i really want to do a fender exit & also will more than likely be replacing wastegates/bov & possibly in the future.

I dont know much about the On3 kit, but with the Cxracing kit you could keep ac if u wanted to do a front bumper exit.
Im running the cxracing cold side and building my own hotside, their quality is pretty nice. I was impressed. I believe i paid 1k for complete coldside, which came with radiator, fans, bov... etc.

I would never own a car with out AC unless it was a track use only car. That is just crazy talk.

The setups have very different purposes. The CXRacing kit is going to take longer to spool and move your torque curve more towards the high rpm's while the on3 kit will hit boost a little sooner and develop good mid-range power. So the right selection is going to depend on what type of racing you plan on doing (drag vs. track) and your cam selection, if any.

I'm surprised the on3 kit hasn't been used alot compared to how popular it is in other platforms i just want to compare quality and pros/cons.

I believe the lack of popularity is due in part to the fact that they didn't start shipping their first kits out until a few months ago. Once build sheets and dyno numbers come out on live applications they'll probanly pick up haha.

I'm surprised no one has jumped on that kit. It is only worth $3,500. Cheap is not always good but you can spend an extra grand possibly more and make the kit great.

Im in the same boat, im on all nitrous now (550-600hp) but starting to gather parts and plan my winter build. I think I can make CX kit work while retaining ac but the spool time on twins is hard to beat. Mostly 1/8 mile around here, big single might hurt me. Also considered keeping my nitrous setup with a big single. I cant decide and keep changing my mind, all I know is I wanna be around the 900hp mark

I dont have a build thread. What kind of info are you looking for? My setup is pretty odd its cx racing manifold and crossover pipes with an on3 88mm turbo. Cx racing radiator and intercooler and the downpipe and charge pipes are custom made. 3inch hot side 4 inch cold side 4 inch downpipe and exhaust.

I have an on3 scavange pump. The turbo drains to a vented catch can mounted right under it and the scavange pump pulls from there and returns to the valve cover.

Just saw your post in the For Sale Forum. Any reason why you decided to sell it? Also what waste gates did you use?
