Awesome street ride. Love my A&A set up. Just had your new secondary drive installed and I was blown away by the results.

Awesome blower and parts from A&A...but that torque curve has suffered big time with that intake.

Agreed.

Probably would have made same or more, and picked up 100+ftlbs with a stock intake.

Sweet looking setup though.

Engine was built by LME with a 8200rpm redline - solid roller cam - and for 2000 horsepower.

A&A YSi is Phase I. As you can see, the blower is out of power at 6600rpm.

When we do twin turbos later, we will turn up the power.

Hmm...900 hp out of a ysi? Guys like Unreal have made 1200 hp.
That blower should easily eclipse 1k. Can you tell us more about the combo? CID,heads, compression etc.

We have never made more than 925rwhp with a YSi in street trim.

Street trim is the A&A plastic elbow and A&A filter, 93 octane pump gas, full AC, real street tires, factory brakes, factory stereo, 100% factory trim. Exactly as it would be driven on public roads across the country, not just across town.

We are not into race cars, bragging rights and biggest power numbers - that is not what we build, nor do we have any interest. Lots of other Tuners do that way, way better than us.

My car is a complete street car with all that, that has 20k+ miles. Driven all over the place, ic cold ac, etc. Jodys car makes 1000+ through auto. Joe@CPR made 1164rwhp Ysi on his basic street combo with AC and everything.

Only thing not on that list is stock inlet, but it did make 1080 on stock ECS dongle/filter.

I fully get saying ~925 through stock A&A dongle/filter maybe a limit, but to say it is the limit of a Ysi street car is definitely not even close to correct.

you can crack 1k on a ysi/2200r with a 4'' otr intake which is still a street setup. I made 1005 and my street filter is insanely small to fit my giant *** intercooler. when i put my bellmouth on i pick up 165 rwhp it's so tiny haha.

I would think over 1k whp on a ysi should be cake. looks like super fun street car though!!

it's funny to me how "normal" all these 850-1000whp street cars are getting. my car is slower than lots on here with 900whp and I drive it everywhere like it's no big deal. cracks me up that is even vaguely practical.

Me neither. But we have different dynos here in my home country...

I've noticed that as well.

RWHP comparison seems to be rather useless, as there are way too many variables.

Anyway, I've seen local Ysi here run over 220 mph on the standing mile.

Dyno is just a tuning tool.

Just go for a standing mile for several runs:

- if it survives, then both tune and mechanical combination are ok
- you can really see how your car performs compared to others (and forget the rwhp...)

That doesn't look like a Fun Street Vette. I would have expected it to do better unless that C7Z is understating it's real numbers.
