Nice car man, very similar to mine. I still prefer the smooth base fender sleeper look after all these years.
I know the stock LS3 clutch is better than the LS2, but probably a good idea to get it out of the way. My clutch held fine for a while, but when I put in on dyno after a year or two just to check my tune, it was slipping under boost and I never knew it. The slipping was almost imperceptible, and it wouldn't put down more than 460 whp
IMO the Mantic Twin is hands down the best clutch for the C6, no shimming, no hassle, throw it on and go.

not needed since everyone else chiming in but I've had both mantic and rxt in my car, and the Mantic is just a dramatically better product in every regard. Even though it holds way more power it also drives way better.

No real update lately. Just been cruising it and babying it due to the clutch. I should be ordering a clutch in November tho.
Did do some garage upgrade and added enough lights to light up my driveway and the street and make the garage like a photo studio haha

is that custom radiator support available for purchase or is that just a one off piece? I've completely FUBAR'd 2 radiator supports already, and i'm ready to try something else. I am lowered on stock bolts and i'm not willing to be any higher. just looks stupid IMO.

Nice thread, car is definitely a sleeper. As said before if I could do it again I would've went the same route as you too. Instead I did a cam swap and nitrous. Would love a blower instead!

Only plans so far are clutch, fuel pump, flex fuel sensor, retune on more psi and on e85. Once I’m around 700-750ish at the wheels I’m straight don’t need anymore after that. After that point I’ll work on going to 15” rears & probably coilovers ,brakes, exterior interior stuff try to lighten the car up some more.

thx you

Damn the vette is a heavy pig. Need to start a diet. Actually weighed it along time ago but never posted it just found the slip. This is 1/2 tank of gas with a subwoofer stereo also on the 18/19” wheel set up.

So figure I’d update this....
Went back to Cordes. Had them install a new clutch and fuel pump along with a new tune.
Mantic twindisk, walbro450, dsteck flex fuel kit, Mighty Mouse catch can.
Car is still pretty stock tho.
Kooks long tubes
Corsa exhaust
Btr truoins and valvesprings
Alky meth kit
Flex fuel sensor
Walbro450 intank e55
Mantic twin disk
Ecs 1500 blower on 12psi
Car put down 720whp and 665tq on e55/meth
After the new tune and clutch break in the vette had some fun.
700whp coyote that had a pro charger set up
And
600whp (mustang dyno) turbo ls swap 240
Mustang vs vette
Then the time to catch the first L on the new setup.
9sec hellcat on 15s. Camera car was a twin turbo c6
This race was a 2nd gear 40roll. Not bad the vette lost by 2 cars.
Also just picked up some new welds yesterday!!!
So now it’s time to see if I can hook in first lol
