Default BR7EF 0.028" causing P0300?

I just swapped plugs from TR6 to BR7EF and I'm getting a P0300 now. It gets set rather quickly. Engine runs and car drives fine. I double checked plug wires and didn't find anything loose. Anybody else have problems with these plugs?

EDIT: 0.028"

I've had nothing but issues with ngk copper core plugs. The iridium plugs have worked fine though.

Did you push the plug wires on all the way? Mess one of them up when pulling them off?

Discoloration on #4
Pulled the plugs today and #3 and #4 had discoloration on the top thread of the plug. #4 is on the left and the one on the right looks like 1-2 and 5-8.

I also looked at the TR6s that came out. The threaded area looked the same on all of them, but the inner porcelain was darker (not black) all the way around on #3. Gonna put the TR6s back in for a bit.

Well.. contrary to my last comment. I decided to widen the gap on the BE7RFs to 0.035". P0300 persists. The car drives fine and spins to 7k with no hiccups.

TR6s worked fine. I only replaced them because I had them out for something else. :/
