Default What size pulley for A&A V3 Ti trim E85 LS3

I need some help/advice in choosing a smaller pulley. The car is a 2008. Mods are: A&A V3 Ti Trim, headers, cat back, E85, small cam (228/232). I have the 4.0 pulley on there now.

Depends on your power goals. Go with a 3.4 if you're looking to max out the blower and make 700+whp.

I made 750whp with a 3.4 on my V-3 Ti on a Mustang Dyno with my 07Z. It also had a mild cam, headers, and meth. After the belt stretched, I got some belt slip so you may have to adjust the tensioner after a while. I decided to go secondary drive with 8 rib instead and picked up 2 pounds of boost.

Not to steal your thread but I was curious what if you are strictly e85 or you had a flex fuel kit.

e85 will provide plenty of octane, but if on a flex fuel set up using 91/93 octane, meth would be required.

Correct but I was curious if he had the ability to run e85 and 91 via a flex fuel kit. I want to run e85 under boost but I use my car for road trips and e85 can get hard to find.

I hope he does. Much better to have the flex fuel option than run strictly e85.

So a 3.4" pulley will max out a ti trim blower?

Yes, for a V3-Ti. Anything smaller will overspin it unless you have the engine-oiled version.

You can overspin it, but I would not do it on a V3 self-contained head unit that does have the HD gears. A stock balancer and 3.4 will put you near the stated max rpm limits of the V3.

I am thinking a 3.4 or maybe a 3.6 to be safe.

With e85, the 3.6 can probably meet your goal.
