Trying to figure out which injector to get for my ls2. I am looking at either the Injector Dynamics ID850, ID1000 or ID1050 injectors. Car has a ECS supercharger kit, long tube headers/no cats. I ordered my supercharger kit with the Bosch 60lb injectors. Since then I have found out that they are obviously **** since no body has the correct injector data for them short of buying a $250.00 DVD. The car has a surge on light throttle and coast that just wont go away. The only future mods I plan is meth injection and maybe a cam. The 3 sizes of Injector Dynamics injectors are close in price so it comes down to what is the best choice for my combination. From what I have been reading the 1050's are the newest design but are they too big? Thanks.

850s or 1050s. There is no point in buying 1000s unless you find a used set for a good price, and you never plan to run E85.

If you may run E85 in the future, get the 1050s now. They are not too big, but depending on the year of your ECU, the could be a bit trickier to calibrate (might need to scale).

1050 or 1300 ones. You'll out-grow the 850s fast.

i have a set of bosch 1650cc I'm selling with less than 2k miles for 1200. and they are in ls2 length

ID 1050s should be fine for your needs.

I mean from what i ve read they have been design to work with e85.

They are fine but 1050 is plenty for your application on pump gas.

i have no problems with the deka 60ies on my c5. maybe save the money and do a fuel system instead? what boost are you seeing? if referenced the deka 6oies are plenty. and surely dough will help you sort out the issues your having. (im assuming your talking about the siemens injectors that come standart with the kit.)

My problem is slow speed and coast surge. Fact is most of the lower priced injectors don't have the proper injector data for our cars. My injectors came with my ECS supercharger kit. Thing is nobody seems to know the right data for them. They are a joke. If I would have known up front there was no data for them I would have spent the extra money for some that did. From now on I won't buy anything but Injector Dynamics injectors it's not worth the hastle.

my "data" came with the base tune from ecs. do you tune yourself? what data do you need? there is info on the injectors from siemens and other sources. that surging sounds like a minor tuning issue to me. i never used injectors that big, but i suspect they wont help the the engine idling.

My "data" also came with a base tune from ECS. Yes, I do my own tuning with help from people that know way more than I do. There have been multiple attempts to correct the surge (including a trip to a professional tuner) but when the injectors are not set up right you are just fighting a lost cause. the surge is not at idle it is at slow speeds at light throttle and at coast at any speed. 02 sensor voltage is all over the place but if the injectors are not fueling right that will cause it. There are many people that think they have the right data for these injectors but everyones data is different. There is a reason why a lot of respected tuners won't tune a car unless it has ID injectors in it. Most everyone that has switched to them has said it inproved the driveability of their car.

i frankly i have no idea what "id" is. what injectors do they get and modify in what way and how? you realise internet is full of sh.., right? do you really think some online outlet has better injectors than mulinational companies like siemens or bosch? there are others, of course.
