Default C6 A&A vortec - what wheels for drag racing?

I have an 08 auto C6 with an A&A Vortec kit on it making 530rwhp. Rear wide booty kit c6 z06 rims with Bridgestone Potenza's.

I took the car to the track, and only got 2 runs in on a hot day. Car did nothing but spin tire. So bad I had to get out of it before the end of the track. ran a 12.01 @ 127, and a 12.11 @ 126.

Thinking NT05's or Mickey Thompson ET street SS on the stock z 06 rims?

Or Weld 17x11 with Mickey Thompsons et streets or Hoosiers?

I do drive the car to the track 2+ hours away, so whatever I do, I will drive to the track and back with them on.

I would either do the 17x11 weld setup if you interested in looks or do a c4 zr1 17" setup if you just want performance. Some also use the c5z 17" wheel as well and I think it's even lighter than the other two. I'm a fan of the hoosier drag radials but with you driving 2 hours each way and having an automatic you may be better with the m/t ss or nitto.

I run 17x11 Welds on MT ET SS's. I make about 100 more than you and they handle it very well.

M/T et street ss. I also drive to the strip at the strip and return. They are a great tire.

I have a chance for a good deal locally on some c5z fronts with MT et street radials 275/40/17's? Think those will hold 600rwhp? or at least my 530?
