LS7 Cats + Boost = Failure
Well the title might be a little misleading.. But its the only way I can get yall to open it.
Question: My current setup is a LS3 with A&A Supercharger kit with a 4" pulley, exhaust is just a LS7 manifold and Cat swap.. Planning on adding meth and pulley down to 3.8 or 3.6.. At what point should i start worrying about the LS7 cats failing/melting?
Been debating pulling them off and gutting.. but its a PITA and if they won't pose a problem down the road I would rather leave them alone

The LS7 cats hold up pretty well, but the more often you make long pulls the quicker you'll kill the cats. Best to go catless with your set up because the cats will eventually melt.

Depends on tune, and use. Could last nearly forever, or could die in 1-2 pulls.
