305-35-19 nitro drag radial
I'm wanting to put 305/35/19 nitro NT05R drag radials on my base 06 c6 z51. Wondering if this will activate the active handling response? Or if you foresee any other problems I may incur? Thank you so much.

NT05R in that size had no TC issues on a 08 base Z51 Lowered on cut rear bolts would rub the inner fender liner a little...not a big deal

I have those in the rear with the matching tread max performance up front. Fronts are about a 1" ratio difference like stock, from the rears and no TC issues. Fronts are at 32 psi and the rears at 25 psi for street use, this is the lowest psi for mine to not throw a low tire light. However when I want to get serious I'll drop the rears to 18 psi. I also have a 8 mm spacer in the rear with a lowered stance and no rubbing like previously mentioned.

Drag radials
Sorry I never responded to you guys' answers. First time back on here since. Anybody experienced with 1" spacers/adapters for the rear on stock c6 z51 rims? Just curious.

I’d recommend the 19” Mickey

Anyone have a pic of your 305/35/19's on the stock narrow body C6 wheels? I am considering the same tires, but was hoping to see how they fit on the wheel, as in how much tire extends beyond than the outer wheel lip.

Flush with body
8mm spacer
Here is that tire installed on my 05 narrow body with a stock 19 by 10 wheel. I also put a 8mm spacer to get the tire more flush with the body, no rubbing whatever

I never had a tc issue with them on my c5, I don't think a c6 would be any different... my front tires are 275/35/19... the nt05r's worked great for me, they still were pretty good at 800rwhp but I wanted a bit more grip so when I wore them out I replaced them with mt et street s/s and I have been pleased with them as well... the nt05r does handle better, will last a bit longer as long as you aren't doing burnouts, and cost about $100 less each than the mt but if you need more grip than the nt05r offers then the mt would be a better choice imo
