3.25 vs 3.47?
Putting a kit on my ls2 car in the next 2 weeks. Which setup should I go with for around 12 psi? Stock balancer for now. I'm thinking 3.47 with no restrictor would be the way to go for better belt wrap. I'm looking to make 675 or so through an automatic, it has a cam and full exhaust and will run on 93 and meth. I asked ecs but he pointed me to the belt chart which was no help.

Some info in this post may help.

Going much smaller on the blower pulley may induce belt slip. Not a direct comparison, but I make 837whp on my LS7 with a Ti trim w/3.47 pulley and stock balancer on 93 and meth. I also have A&A secondary drive.

Depends on the blower but if you wanted to max out a V2 Ti or something then 3.47/8.0 8 rib works well. That combo makes 14 psi on my 377

I'm gonna run it speed density but I'm running an ls3 maf to use the iat function. Do you know if I need the regular caspers harness to convert ls2 to ls3 or do I need the iat breakout one?

I’d just get a clean tube with no maf then and install a separate IAT

Not really, if you already have that one then I’d go with it. I think they look cleaner without a maf at all if it’s not going to be used anyways

I agree, maybe I'll get it all installed then replace it down the road. Do you know if I need the breakout or just the regular harness?

Regular harness. Needs to convert from ls2 style maf connector to ls3 style connector
You can also remove the pins from the ls2 maf connector and install them into an ls3 maf connector I’m pretty sure. Pretty sure that’s how I did mine but it’s been a while
(Also apologies for deleted post, I was still thinking straight tube with no maf)

2 bar from a cobalt ss. I’ve also ran the Dsx 2.5 bar one (well, I made mine but same basic thing) before. Either works fine

I also run the DSX MAP sensor without issues and those guys are super helpful.
i run procharger d1 but with 8 rib and 3.55" belt and 8" crank, it took some fine tuning but holds great now, makes 15.5-16psi peak if cold out. I can't imagine a 6 rib would hold at all though

I see 12+ psi all day Long on Basic ECS 6 rib setup. Just the straight stock kit. It isn’t unusual at all. I’ve seen 14 on a cold day.

I appreciate it but I already have a 3.25. Was just wondering if I could run the 3.47 and reach my goal and have less chance of belt slip.
