So got the d3 fans in and holy **** lol.. was 93 outside today - idling my temps were like 162 on coolant - i revved it for a few ins to heat it up to like 175 then went right back down after a few mins to 163ish.. what is too cold for coolant? i am thinking of adding in coolant to bring it up a smidge.

163 is too cool

Swap the t-stat to a 180, or adjust fan setting so they don't come on until much higher.

Ya not the easiest thing to get a tune a adjust. Changing the mixture of water to coolant won’t bring up the temps?

15-20 mins. Oil was 185. Just idling wasn’t driven.

Why ?? I'm local and have HPtuners for one....

Changing coolant ratio won't make much of a difference

Ahh ok didn’t know u had hp tuners. One of these days I’d like to get one with out any credits. I have to take it back again to the tuner bc I shredded the belt during a pull. Prob bc I was missing a spacer on the blower :/

If you own a modded blower car, you should own HP tuners. Make that your next purchase. It will pay for itself over and over again.

Best way would be to swap the t-stat to a 180. A 160 tstat is going to make your car run too cool, and cause added engine wear for no advantage. It is the single biggest scam mod around.

Maybe, maybe not. The fan settings should be adjusted for your setup. No reason to have them full blast at 180 now that you have good fans.
