That's what I use with one of the upgrade sensors. It has been good to me for over a year (almost 2 perhaps). It's probably due for a new sensor this winter.

the only thing I don't like about the plx is anytime my car is out in the sun and the gauge gets hot the display don't work. This is my 2nd display and it does the same thing.

Did Pat suggest going speed density even with the 6L80 ? I was under the impression the trans prefers to have the maf working.

I havent talked to him about that yet. I've heard that as well but I've also heard SD is fine. I would have to change my setup a bit if thats the case. I have my meth spraying pre maf now.

I have also read both ways can work, but still understand that the trans uses calculations from the MAF. I haven’t tried SD myself so not really sure. Pat would know.

I mentioned I had a cobalt ss map and he didn't mention it but it was a quick conversation. I'll post up what he says if I go that way.

Fired her up today for the first time on the tune my tuner sent me as a base just to get it to his shop. Belt alignment and everything looks great so far and she runs good. Had a slight fuel leak from one of my fittings on the ecs piece that intercepts the fuel line. Got that tightened up and all is well. Idled on an 80* day right at 183* for a good while. Time to do converter and get her tuned.

Great! Hopefully my blower comes in and I can finally start mine. I think I'm just going to drive mine to my tuners and change injectors there.

Good stuff! I see some drag radials in your future.
And some plastic surgery, to get the grin off your face.

Well, change of plans so I may not get a dyno number. Took it to a local shop that does a lot of stuff around here and they called the next morning and told me to come get it because it's leaking oil out of the rear main and the front of the oil pan and they don't want to put boost to it until its fixed. Took it to a buddy's trans shop and put it on the lift and clean it off and figure out that it's just leaking ps fluid from being overfilled after we deleted the cooler. So I'm installing a wideband and will do a remote tune and will absolutely use the maf to help out the 6l80. I knew I should have went this way in the first place. Live and learn.

Just to update on the 6l80 maf deal. Pat suggested to use it but he did say you can tune the 6l80 correctly without the maf. He said it was harder to do, especially thru email.

Well she made 675 as a final number. Made a little more than that and was making 15 whp each time he added a degree but he took back out a touch to be on the safe side. This was on a dyno mite dyno for reference. From my understanding it reads like a dynojet. Funny thing is 675 was the number I had in my head all along. Same setup on an ls3 right before me made 720 which seems about right. After that he made 810 on e50.
