Default Its tune time.

Ok guys so I have a 08 ls3 with a G6X3 cam and about to get a nitrous tune. Should I be worried about PTV clearance or valve float? As is of right now this is all I'm worried about the tuner is great at what he does no worries there. Are there any predictions? I'm running a wet shot off the rail. I'm getting him to get the biggest shot possible without pulling to much from the cylinders. Car makes roughly 490/440 now. What's yalls opinion?

Valve float and PTV issues can occur without the nitrous if you over rev the engine or you have a weak valve spring.

Are you going to run the stock fuel pump? How big of a shot are you thinking?

Stock pump, I'm hoping for at least150 shot but we will see what the car will allow

Ok so finally got the nitrous kit hooked up right and tuned today. The car made 477, 441 on motor and 609 and we didn't get a reading out of torque but somewhere between 650 and 700.
