Default Boosted ls3 dynoed and tuned.

Just wondering if I have an issue here with my A6 ls3. Tuner said I will be having to shift at 6200rpm because it’s not making anymore power is this a common issue? Also I’m running a 3.4 pulley with a stock balancer and only making 10psi does this sound correct? Mods include TSP 1 7/8 longtubes, catless x pipe, stock NPP exhaust, walboro 450 fuel pump, 1100cc injectors, rod modded intake, a&a v2 t-trim supercharger with a 3.4 pulley and e85. Car made 621rwhp.

The boost number sounds pretty close but why did he say it wasn't making anymore power up top? I don't know enough about fuel systems but did it have something to do with that? Most people on e85 run bigger than 1100cc but I'm not sure what power level yours are good for. Maybe you are getting some belt slip up top?

I would assume it's because you're out of fuel pump. You need to either post a log or the dyno graph with wideband. I'll bet you start to lean out around there. A **** point at 6200rpm isn't far off if you're on a stock camshaft though.

Boost and power seem low for that setup.

Fwiw, mine makes 651rw with a 3.6, cam and headers 11.5 psi on 93 alone. I know the A6 won't make as much as a M6 but with a 3.4 on corn I would expect at least 700rw. Something doesn't seem right.

The ls3 cars I was researching had stock long blocks as well. I know if I do a cam it’ll make a lot more but I don’t want to lose the drive ability of how stock feels.

The fact that you're on stock cam and only making 10 psi with a 3.4 concerns me. Have you checked for boost leak or belt slip?

A mild blower cam won't lose any drive ability. Should drive close to stock if tuned properly.

I agree with the others that boost and power numbers are low. On a stock LS7 with headers and mild cam, stock balancer with 3.4 pulley, and headers on 91+ meth, I made 741 rwhp on a Mustang Dyno at 11.5psi. With your set up, you should be making at least 700 rwhp. Check for belt slip and/or loss of fuel pressure.

Check the logs or the Dyno graph for a boost curve that plateaus at a certain rpm. Also, look for belt dust.

It would be interesting to see the graph. It could be a few things but valve springs could be an issue.

for reference my ls2 made 675 on stock balancer and 3.25. That was at 15 psi and thru an a6 with a 3600 converter unlocked. Small cam, headers with no cats and 93 and meth. Seems like yours is a couple of psi down but maybe that's because he couldn't spin the motor any higher?

Notice he is on V2 T trim. This is not the current V3 Ti trim. I dont think that blower is rated as much as the V3 Ti.

T trim will do 800+ all day long with ease. That is not the problem.
