Burning Brakes
Those are the plugs I went with also, my tuner is the one who said it was arcing. He switched out like 3 or 4 to ones he had laying around and it fixed the problem so I didn't ask any questions lol

What socks are you running around the wires? The one I have are titanium I think and Im sure they'll just transmit the spark if it is in fact arcing. I dont want to start throwing parts at it for no reason but I already planned to run some socks to keep the heat down on top of the ceramic wires but if im going to buy them i want to make sure im not just making the problem worse. Did you ever change the plugs out with the manifolds on? I can get to 7 of them but the one around the dipstick im not sure i can get to. I think ill have to at least take the dipstick bracket off but still need to grab the car from the tuner to try. Just curious if you were able to so i know what im getting into lol

I'm running 18psi with that gap, but different plug, with no issues. My coils are in the fenders and I run 4ft long MSD wires. I did have one boot that was torn and was arcing. You could feel it hesitate right as it was getting into boost.
You might have a weak coil, or two. I would change the plugs first. They are easy to crack if your socket is not on the hex part all that way.

Plugs are definitely going to be my first stop. I pulled a couple out on the dyno to verify gap and see what they looked like and they looked good so I dont think its a fouled plug or anything. I could have broken one or one could have been damaged from the old wires arcing/melting, so I'm hoping thats it. Wires are new and I looked over all of them and didnt see anything abnormal. So if its not a plug then im guessing itll be a coil.

Found broken plugs that were causing the misfire in high RPM areas. Havent had the car back on the dyno but its running well now and hauls ***. Recently listed it for sale though since I dont really have time or the desire to mess with it anymore. Kids do that to ya lol.
