My build for 2018

Burning Brakes
Im sure you have already tried everything but I had a 18mmx1.5(o-ring) to 10an fitting leaking on my oil scavenger pump and switch to a BSPP thread with a copper washer(like on a banjo bolt) and it stopped the leaking. I would think the rack is a metric tap or npt tap and not a BSPP (straight threads) but it may be worth trying.

I went to Harbor Freight and bought every size and material o-rings they have. So far, two have failed, but at least one was just a sizing issue. I can't quite figure out the other. Does anyone have their rack out of the car (or the engine out) and can take a picture of the high pressure inlet on the rack for me? It looks like mine has a black o-ring in the bottom of it, but some light touching with a pick didn't cause it to move. I don't want to go poking around and damage something that isn't supposed to come out this way.

For what I'm using the car for, all of the stock stuff is sufficient except tires. I just had R88Rs installed but I haven't been able to drive the car much due to the power steering leak I'm battling.

Thanks Unreal. I think that looks just like mine. Wonder which brand fitting you're using. I ordered two new fittings from Summit. One made by Aeroquip which looks roughly the same as what I have, and one made by KRC which has a cone shaped end on it, like the factory lines.

When I get home later I'll see if I can find it. Whatever the DP kit came with.

The A&A fitting looks like an off brand or possibly an Earl fitting. These are the two I ordered. The A&A fitting looks like the Aeroquip in terms of design, but it has a shiny finish like the KRC. The factory line has a cone-shaped end like the KRC fitting.

I feel like Dubya saying this again, but mission accomplished. The KRC fitting looked like the best fit and my power steering is no longer leaking. To my surprise, the Aeroquip also had a cone shape but the ID of that side was significantly smaller than the other two.

The car is at CBI Street Cars for a Fore fuel system. It will have triple 450s plumbed in series with rail mounted regulator, Fore rails, flex fuel sensor and the FlexLP -8 lines everywhere but the last couple of feet going to the tank (those are PTFE). I hope to have it back next week. Baby is due a week from tomorrow, so who knows if I'll get to drive the thing.

The car is back. Fuel system seems ok. Power steering is leaking, again. I haven't verified if it's the same spot, but I have little confidence it's somewhere else.

I’ve put about 300 miles on it now. Most of those trips were cut short though because of the leak. I need to sort out the idle and start with flex fuel. I may drop the car off with Steck for that because my daughter arrived last week.

Idle is sorted out. Partial throttle stuff is done. I'm using the Aeroquip fitting. 3 trips out with ~2 hours total driving while tuning and I haven't noticed any leaking.
