Needs more power up top as you have all the traction in the world! Lol love that you are dragging the diffuser! Must be doing its thing pretty well.

it does actually lol, we ran out of injector out at the last event. has 16 id2k's that were at 100% duty cycle at 110 base pressure. pushed them to the max. Have a set of 570# atomizers on the way for the primaries though so we should have a decent amount of head room for power at the next event.

Do you think it's the wing or the diffuser adding all that downforce? Is the front end still planted? Don't want a Le Mans style flip happening!..

What's our guess on the power it will be making with the bigger injectors?

its definetly the wing, last fall runs compared to this springs are a drastic difference with the wing vs with out. front end feels very planted still, the sealed underbody is doing a great job of keeping it sucked down to the track.

we should be able to crank it up to 60#'s on the new injectors assuming we have traction. assuming 3k+ at the crank

I see speedhunters has done a write up on the car. Looks even better in their pictures.

Have you considered doing a long nose conversion like a lot of the promods have done? Just thinking it would reduce the CD and also give you room to rotate the turbos to face on? Or switch the engine to a BBC!

havent considered a long nose yet, but tubing the front and doing a one piece front end is in talks. probably going to pull the trigger on that this winter for weight and ease of working on it at the track.

Havent had a reason to convert to a BBC yet, this lme 400 cube canted valve head combo has been taking the abuse great so far and we still have alot of headroom to crank it up. we have another 15-20 #'s of boost on the table from the turbos.

Hmmm how about adding a little nitro to really get things going?

Can't wait to see this thing with plenty of fuel. Are you running a mechanical fuel pump?
