Default 2005 Corvette Fuel Transfer Issues

I'm sure I've messed something up, I just don't know where to start looking for the issues. I have a 2005 Corvette that I have put a boost referenced system on.

To do this I disconnected the stock feed line after installing a 450 lph pump in the tank, using the feed line from the top hat of the driver tank I ran it to a Y fitting. On the other side of the Y fitting I have an inline 044 running from a bulkhead fitting. Both of these pumps meet at the Y and go up to the front of the car through an 8an hose where there is another Y that feeds each fuel rail via a 6an line. From the front of these rails I have 6an hoses going to a Magnafuel regulator. The bottom of the Magnafuel regulator has a 6an line that connects into the factory feed line. Going back to the back of the car there is a 180* fitting that connects to the loop on the factory feed and returns to the bottom of the fuel tank right next to the 8an feed.

I have both of the LPE blockoff fittings installed in the tanks but the car dies at half of a tank completely out of fuel. I basically copied Schpenxel's fuel system that is referenced in this post:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1593030905

I'm not sure if I pinched an oring or something when installing the LPE block offs or what exactly is going on.

I had the same issue, one of the o rings in the fuel cross over tube wasn't sealing 100%

oh man I was dreading that, I'm on my 3rd crossover tube haha. second one wasn't my fault they shipped it bent in half and the lines inside broke the retaining clips on the end. I'll order up the o-rings and get the tanks back out and hopefully that will fix it.

Worst case you could probably assemble the fuel system off the car and test it at least.. not 100% the same since you still have to get it back apart and put it all back in the car, but at least you'll know if you have a chance before spending the time to remove/reinstall it again

That is a pretty bad case. Might have to do it though. I can at least test it that way though I suppose. Would you just put like 3 gallons in the passenger tank and 1 in the driver tank and see if it pushes the 3 over from the passenger tank to the driver tank? Obviously the amount is just a random number but would that be correct in theory? I hate this fuel system so much.

Did you just replace the o rings or end up buying the whole line assembly for both tanks? I haven't been able to find just the o rings.

What’s your fuel pressure? If fuel pressure is too low it will not transfer over.

It has the LPE block offs in each of the canisters. Apparently when I put the passenger sending unit back in the line that receives pressure from the filter in the driver tank didn't completely seat/click onto the plastic fitting. So as fuel would bleed over to the passenger tank like designed it was just filling the tank up and when it got full it would roll some of it back over into the driver tank. Tested it out of the car and it worked, put it in and ohm'd both sides of the sending unit while jumping the fuel pump relay to verify transfer. Buttoned it all up and watched it transfer all of the fuel from the passenger tank to the drive tank via my hp tuners. Looks like it's good to go. Fun day though for sure.

I did the exact same thing before. So frustrating.
