Procharged ls2 d1x vs f1a-94
So pretty much im trying to find out what most people have seen works the best. I have a new motor with about 1200 miles on it. Im about to pull the trigger on one or the other. I was leaning towards the f1 but I've had a few people trying to push me on a d1x. Any thoughts? Looking for 800ish rwhp

I have a new motor right now (warranty job) but within a year period im going to build a stout motor for boost. This is for once i blow the stock motor.
i would be happy with 800 for right now. But once i have the new motor done im going to go for 1000 plus once i add on the rest of the supporting mods to the car to hold that power.

D1X can support your current goal easily and should be able to hit your future goal. Mine makes almost 1000 to the wheels and I haven’t maxed it out yet.

If they would have never came out with this headunit I would have maybe grabbed a F1A94 one day but I’m very happy with this one. The power the 94A is capable of isn’t something I really want. D1X right around 1000 wheel is cool with me.

D1X is more then enough blower for a stock engine. Hell, I'm running a d1sc on a built ls3.

I almost went with the f1 yesterday till I watched a d1x c5z on the dyno yesterday at the shop make over 800 and he wasnt even close to done tuning it so I'm sure it ended up high 800s. That was the nail in the coffin for me yestersay. The tq curve was awsome compared to what the f1 was going to be.
I ended up buying a erl sleeved ls2 block as well so I'm going to start the motor build now along with it.
