Default Anyone running a msg atomic intake?

I wa thinking of getting one. My power level is 702 to the wheels, aa v3 si, headers cam tune and a fast 102. I had to re tighten the runners once already on the intake. Was wondering if anyone is using the msd intake and are they happy with it? Also if there are any pros or cons to it.

Damn auto correct. MSD atomic intake, not msg. Lol

It is by far worse than the fast for boosted applications. Your best bet is a stock intake. There is zero sane reason to run the MSD.

Cons-
Reliability
Fitment
Cost
Potential catastrophic failure of your motor

Pros-
Lightens your wallet
May reduce boost level ~.5-1psi

good info thank you. I had the fast on the car before I did the aa v3 so I kept it. Do you think if I went to the ls3 intake I would loose power?

at about 800 hp the MSD will start outperforming the FAST.

No you won't lose power, as the pulley/blower dictates that. You won't pick up power going to MSD either, You may change boost slightly, but power will stay almost identical. Your best bet is to sell the fast and just throw a stock ls3 intake on.
