Default ECS Install - Trans cooler lines?

For the life of me, I can't figure out what to do with, or how to bend, the trans cooler lines so the hose coming from the head unit will pass through. The top line I think I've got a plan for but that bottom one is jut right up the middle.

Also, the power steering line that loops around the cooler is also kind of in the way. I just see all of these hoses rubbing, doesn't seem like a clean system.

Ideas? Pic to follow....

Been years since I've had those, but I think I went through them. Definitely possible to make it work nicely.

Screw those things in all honestly, I got some puch-lok hose and the adapter from jegs and I've had it like that for 3+ years no issues.

If I go in to change them I'll go with a braided line.. but like I said 3+ years no issues

Thanks! I'm honestly about to s***can the entire trans cooler, the lines are also pinching between the headers and QuickTime bell also. Seems to be more trouble than it's worth for a car that's never going to see a road course. I'm starting to really hate this project.

Yea exactly why I went with the rubber lines, I taped/zip tied them out of the way and made things a lot easier.

Where did you cut your existing hardlines? And what did you do to prepare the ends of those lines for the hose? Did you put in a bubble flare or something on them? Really trying to get this car wrapped up by the end of the weekend so I can get it tuned up before FL2K and also I have a friend coming the week of October 8. Hopefully I can find these locally if I go this route.

Nope. Those things i posted are all I used.

If you detach the lines right at the firewall the adapters just snap it with a U clip, same on my trans cooler(dewitts).

The section you pull out is like 5ft long lol, but I just cut them in half so I could get them out easier.

yeah, those thing are a PITA. I left them on but I was really, really close to taking a saw to them and cutting the f'ing things out during the install.

Sounds familiar, so are you in Florida or Texas?

Follow up: So I got the charge hose in. I wound up disconnecting the bottom line from the rad so I could get a little more leverage on it, then kind of worked backwards from there. Eventually I found a good medium where the charge hose passed through and the end went naturally into the radiator without stressing it. Also nothing is touching the tensioner etc. I would have posted a tutorial but it's just one of those feel things you just have to do. Thanks for all the replies! Had I gotten to this step earlier in the build I have no doubt I would have just gone Ant-Man's way and installed hoses or AN lines.
