Default Reduced engine power issue

I get a reduced engine power message and P0606 code every now and then. I have yet to track down what causes it, I can hammer on the car for 20 minuets and then leaving a stop light in will go into reduce power. Turning the car off and back on will reset it but it will still do it after awhile. The only thing I have noticed is it will not do a burnout, or boosted launch. If trying to build boost at a low speed it will go into reduced power. Otherwise it seems to come on at random times. The car is going back to the tuner so he can try and fix it but that wont be for a couple weeks so I was going to see if there was something that I could try to fix it myself? I know the first two places would be TB and Gas pedal switch, Ill try those this week. Anything else I can try with out having HPtuners?
Car is twin turbo, 687hp/694tq on a Speed Density tune.

Good luck. I’m fighting this issue too. Only happens when the traction control is turned off. If you find a fix please post it up.

Good luck I'm dealing with this right now. It's not my throttle body as a I swapped with a friend and it worked flawless on his car. I flashed the ECM back to bone stock and did a new tune. Still does it. Only with TC turned off. Done everything we know of possible with the tune. My car is a 2008 with a 2011 ECM in it. Going to try swapping ECM's next.

Why would it only set that fault with TC turned off? Never does it with TC on

And if that don’t work (which it didn’t for me) what else can you think of?

Actual tps or pedal issue. What throttle body are you using?

Would TPMS have anything to do with it? I believe mine only goes into Reduced power when traction control is turned off.

It should only go into limp mode if you have tpms installed and pressures are "too low," or if you have traction control on and the front/rear tire ratio is out of whack it will turn on traction control if the rear tires are too short or reduce engine drag if they are too tall.

I had a set of 275/40R17 DR2's on. My tpms light was always on, the rear wheels didnt have sensors in them.

Silver blade. Swapped it to another car and it works perfect so ruled that out. Again it ONLY does it with TC turned off. Doesn't matter if the wheels have sensors or not. Tried it both ways.

Is this only on EFI Live? I can’t find it on HPT but only on my EFI Live?
