Default Is this part needed with a BAP and the Racetronix fuel pump wiring harness >

I am getting ready to install a Heartbeat SC on my 2011 GS. The car will be using the OEM fuel pump.

Today I ordered a Kenne Bell BAP and the Racetronix "fuel pump wiring harness" (P/N: FPWH-008)
See Link: https://www.racetronix.biz/product.asp?ic=fpwh-008

I had heard that I should also buy the $8 Racetronix "pump booster interface connector set" (P/N: PBIC-001)
See Link: https://www.racetronix.biz/product.asp?ic=pbic-001

I am thinking that I don't really need this interface connector ... the FPWH-008 wiring harness is supposed to have all the connectors that I will need.

Is that right ?

Buy it, makes everything plug and play. This way if something happens to the boost a pump, you can easily just unplug it and diagnose. I have it on my car.

saplumr and HouseS2k ... Thanks a bunch

I thought that the Racetronix "fuel pump wiring harness" (P/N: FPWH-008) by itself was supposed to make everything plug and play.

But for 8 bucks, I will order the interface connector set.

Checking on the internet, it looks like it is only available through the Racetronix website ... can't seem to find it anywhere else.

Holy **** ... The cheapest shipping option (UPS Ground) to Florida is more than double the price of the interface connector by itself !

I had to have it on mine and didn’t realize until we got in to it and had to order and wait for it. At that point the cost didn’t matter. Oh and by the way I ordered mine from RaceTronix and got a cool tee shirt out of it.

saplumr .....

If the Racetronix fuel pump wiring harness (FPWH-008) is supposed to be 'plug and play' for someone just installing the Kenne Bell BAP on a C6 using the stock OEM fuel pump .... I still can't see why the 8 dollar "Pump Booster Interface Connector Set" is needed.

All the connectors needed are not included in this wiring harness?

Mine was done years ago so I can’t remember all of what went down and maybe they’ve made changes over the years. I would call RaceTronix and ask them before you buy unnecessarily or find out you should have ordered it. I did all my conversations directly with them. By phone, not email

IIRC, that connector kit is for you to crimp onto the power wire on the BAP itself in order for it to plug into the Racetronix harness, rather than splicing the BAP wiring into the stock wire harness. I bought the kit when I ordered my Racetronix harness as well.
BTW: If you think the shipping charges to Florida are expensive, you don’t want to see what I have to pay for overseas shipping. And then get charged 27% import tax on the cost of shipping as well as the cost of the parts on top of it.

CI GS ...

Thanks for the info ... Well, I just found a source for this connector kit that just charges 5 bucks shipping, so I ordered this connector from them ... $13 total to the door
