Currently in a debate with my self of rather I want to go with a 2.5 bar map sensor or run the stock one and upgrade the MAF.
My buddy really wants me to run this. In theory it is better then the map sensor and wont be maxed out like the 2.5 bar will. So more then likely leaning towards this setup.

Radiator arrived. Destroyed. Hopefully amazon takes care of it quickly. At least i got to see how the fitment is. Probably a inch or two taller then i would like but perfect width. I will lean it back slightly most likely to help fit it better height wise and to avoid smashing it back to back with the intercooler.

Jesus, that's destroyed. Why not fab up a lower mount so you can stand it straight up.

Luckily they were pretty quick to message me back with a tracking number with a new radiator. I think at a slight angle will fit better due to height. This was the closest in my budget a custom one would have been ideal but 5x the money.

What manifolds are you planning on using? I'm going to use the stock LS2 manifolds. I'll upgrade to the Holley or Magnaflow shorty header later on to clean it up.

I got a driver side oem manifold from a ls3 car I’ll have the cat gutted. The passenger side will be a homemade log style.
That is very subject to change once the guy who will be doing all the welding takes a look if we can avoid a log and go forward with stock manifold of some sort we will.

I wonder if the hooker turbo manifold will fit with a homemade crossover.

I asked a few people about that. One guy told me that it hits the frame. He wasn't very detailed with his response.

There's a log made by, Dirty Dingo, I believe. Looks like it can work but the turbo will poke out of the hood.

i spoke to them originally but a buddy of mine wants to make something.
As of right now we are doing the front mount setup vs through the hood.

Wish i had better news but after last weeks terrible snow storms and insanely cold weather i finally got a couple hours into the car today.

Got the car on the ground and started working on the water pump/power steering/alternator. Found out i threw the bracket away for the power steering reservoir so i had to order a new one but thats not a big deal.

The replacement radiator also came in the mail and looks great. Now at least i have the beat up one to use for mounting and mock up.

My goal this week is to head over to a machine shop i used to work at and rebuild the rocker arms since my current job does not let the office people work on the floor.

Well i originally wanted to do this from the start of the build but finally got around to it. Really my first attempt at this so its rough and a bit embarrassing but i will most likely continue making these even if only I watch them just because i think it will be cool to go back in time in the future and watch them and the progress of both the build and my ability to learn which direction to hold a phone when recording videos.

Never have watched. But I will now lol.

I think i am going to have to give up and buy one of these to do my rockers. I hate buying tools i will only use once. But maybe it will make for decent video content of me failing over and over rebuilding them.

I used a 10 ton hydraulic press at work to do mine. Otherwise you can use a vise, probably be a more useful investment vs an arbor press lol.

Ended up with a arbor press and it worked great once i found the correct method to doing it. I already have a small vice but i dont have any where to mount it in our new house so its pretty useless lol.

I made another video last friday and edited it once of these days this week ill post her up. Also this week will be the first week my buddy who is doing the turbo kit will be over to take a look at the car and figure out our game plan. He helped me do my 2jz miata and big turbo sti but moved to cali and now he finally moved back so i am hype to have him back around to help me do things i shouldnt be doing.
