Sloppyz Single Turbo Nitrous c6 z06

Melting Slicks
well bought a spare gen 4 5.3, 317 heads, and a walbro 450 today for really cheap so i have some back up parts
Going to switch the fuel system to a single walbro 450 and one of the aem 320s i was already using. Then i am going to try to find a way to plug the passenger fuel tank and add a -8 bulkhead fitting to the factory top hat.
Still wanting to do a holley or something but that may come later on.
*oh and nothing to do with the c6 but the c7 z literally tried to kill me last weekend. Cruising down the highway in traffic and all of a sudden the ball joint nut fell off the car disconnecting the hub from the control arm and everything got wild for a second. Car had 4,000 miles on it...GM is now paying to repair the car. GM is really into quality and safety.

I paid $200 for the shortblock, heads, and used fuel pump.
A buddy has a shop and was trying to clear it out and make room as he always has masses of parts. I didnt plan on buying anything but it was so cheap it made since to throw it on a stand and use it when i can. Unless this whole corona thing gets me first.

Finally got to work on the car this weekend.

Lots of poor life choices were made. I am just going to take my time and re do the car the way I actually want it.
car is getting a holley terminator x and a fuel cell with a magnafuel 4303
I am also relocating the fuse box under the passenger fender along with the coil packs under each fender. I started this process.
Factory ecu and engine harness are out of the car now.

Got some more done this weekend. Took apart the old 5.3 to take some stuff i needed.
Catch can, coilpacks, and fuse box are mounted.
Driver side will get the ecu and that sides coil packs.

Here is a link to the catch can. The -8 fittings are beings switched with -10s with pushlock hose. For the money it honestly seems super solid.
It is just mounted through the wall that the coil packs/fuse box are now mounted too.
I used these in a couple spots also in there which was really nice for mounting purposes.

Well manifold is pretty much done not bad for homemade. Crossover is fully tacked and ready to weld also. We plan this week to have the entire turbo setup on the car ready to go. With some luck that will mean it will get to do the first start this weekend. If we dont get to do it this weekend then the following should be it for sure. I think we will take the turbo and set it off to the side for the first start so that we do not risk damaging anything that could be left in the exhaust.
Assume 1.5" sch 10 weld els, but can't tell by the pictures if those are 45 degs or 90 deg short radius?
Main log section is 2.5" and looks like you mixed short & long radius. Just trying to get an idea before I order a bunch of stuff that I will not need or use.
THANKS

Apologize to bring back an old thread - are you from around the GR area? I remember seeing this car at Sonic a couple years back, actually have a picture of it on my phone. Looks like Andrews shop as well for tuning? Sick build btw. I am debating f1x or big single, hence why I landed on this thread. I'm in the GR area as well.
