Default BOV/Bypass valve location/ProCharger

Just curious as to where the best placement/location is when replacing the pro-flow bypass valve that comes with the procharger kit. I have a Tial Q and it was installed in the same location the pro-flow used to be, between the front of the engine and the radiator. I had requested the Tial Q to go either on the intake pipe or coming of the intercooler piping in the front. This request wasn’t done originally and the Tial Q was installed in the exact location the pro-flow used to be in. I guess my question is does the location change offer any benefits or any negative aspects of where installation is? Ultimately I’m paying and I wasn’t happy that my request wasn’t honored. Now that my rebuild is nearing completion I made a more matter of fact request that the BOV goes where I requested. At this point it’s more of a principle to not completely ignore the paying customers request for what is more convenient to the shop, am I being ridiculous with my location request? Does the location even matter? Also side note noise is of zero concern, if anything the more obnoxious the better.

Putting it before the intercooler makes the most sense to me to prevent elevated IATs, but others claim there’s really no difference as long as it is before the MAF.

Preintercooler so it vents air and doesn't make the intercooler work extra for no reason. Other than that, doesn't matter.

thats pretty much what I was looking for, I’m just trying to get it out of this shop in it’s own power so if it’s fine where it it is I’ll leave it alone, since I asked 3 months ago to move the location and make an inlet pipe that allowed me to use my Dallas performance big mouth intake(they said it wouldn’t fit as is apparently the intake pipe won’t clear the radiator) since neither request had happened in 3 months of my car sitting there already, I’m not sure how much extra time these things would take them. Now that the engine is finished and we dropped it in Friday I’m hopping we finish it tomorrow, unfortunately if I don’t go there supervise and help not much gets done. So I’ll be there bright and early 0800 and I don’t plan on leaving until it’s finished! As soon as it leaves on its own power these dudes are fired.

My plan is to look at how the radiator sits and fits into the bracket and see if there’s a simpler way to lower it so the inlet pipe that came with the big mouth will fit without them having to do any extra work, I feel like I can figure that out but I’m open and would love any suggestions you guys have, that’s pretty much what’s left for tomorrow, radiator and fan, AC condenser, blower system, intercooler. So if there’s a slick way to make this work it’s the perfect time with just those parts left and still off the car. We also need to get to the ECU for the E85 system and I’m a little concerned about that as well time wise that is. This rebuild has been an absolute nightmare.

Do you have a stock radiator? To install the big mouth you have to trim the lip on the radiator and mash down the cooling fins as much as you can, I used a small hammer to massage them down to where I needed to be to fit the big mouth.
