Default Missfire issue with my Nitrous ls3

Hey guys, I have a 09 Ls3 with a 100 shot, heads, cam, making 480whp without the bottle, I just got my bottle refilled and i raced my buddies car last night, we did about 4 pulls and the first 3 i had no issues, on the 4th pull, I switched it to 3rd gear and i could see that the afrs got to like 13.5, it started missing and cutting out and my check engine light started flashing. I didnt have my bottle pressure very high, it was at like 600ish, I have some Br7 spark plugs in there gapped at .33-35, any idea on what it might be?

tighten the gap to .25 and see what happens. I had a problem under boost where the engine started breaking up around 12 lbs of boost. tightened the plug gap and problem went away.

Check the gap and plugs overall. How much nitrous have they seen? You might want to swap them for good measure.

I think the plugs are ok, im gonna check them this week but I think it is too low of bottle pressure, my pressure was only at like 600ish so it sort of makes sense. I didnt turn the heater on at all so next time I will

Low bottle pressure would lead to a rich condition. Maybe your fuel solenoid is clogged or not working.

I don't know why you're running 7s... A TR6 is fine to a 150. While it may not be a real issue, I feel you just have too cold of a plug.

BR7s are fine.

OP, check that your spark plug wires are properly connected and that none of the ceramics on your plugs are broken or cracked.

Are you pulling off the rail? Stock fuel pump? Could be getting too hot and starting to fail. Try to log fuel pressure or put a gauge on it.

I am pulling fuel off the rail, I'll log it this week and see what it's doing.

Bottle pressure needs to be at least 900. Pull codes to see what they are. Throw a fresh set of plugs in, bump up the pressure to 900 psi and run it again.

thanks for all the help guys, I bought a nano system so I'm gonna hook that up for next year. It's been pretty cold here every day so I dont think I will use the nitrous anymore this year. I'll put some new plugs this winter and maybe even a fuel standalone cell and hopefully she rips next year.

Nano system is god-like in this cold weather. I run one. Keep the bottle cool and you won't have any issues. If you plan to run larger than a 150 shot, I would change the regulator in the HPA bottle to one of the new Ninja V2 regs with the ball valve instead of the needle valve. It flows more and will keep the pressure more consistent.
