Any reason for going single over twins? Can’t wait to see more of this car!

F1x and belt drive is out and being replaced. Not ordered yet, but I am leaning towards a 106mm single turbo up front. Car will retain the 2 stage direct port just in case!

I am thinking of running the inlet piping thru the front bumper again, air-to-water up front, radiator out back.

Staying with the manual trans for now, but we will see how it takes the power. A few small things to figure out, but it should be a fun winter getting everything put together.

Congratulations....looking forward to it! Too bad you had clutch slip on that last pass...I think you could have made 275mph with the 200 shot. Good luck!

Simplicity in packaging mostly. I have no issue with a little lag, we struggle with traction anyways. The Precision 106mm should get us well over 2000 when needed.

Vise on the table is an old Columbian that I restored. The table was something I scored cheap, just because it took a ramp truck to move it!

No new pics this week, but I did lock in some parts.

Golen Engine has the LSX block apart and is ordering a new Callies Ultra Billet crank, custom Wiseco's, lifters, cam, bearings, etc. etc. Goal is to make it good for 2500hp. They will be dyno-ing it N/A, so it has a proper break in (unlike last time )

The motor actually held up well over the past 3 years.. Bearings were all great, crank good, rods being re-used, pistons were a bit scuffed but I was spraying more than it was rated for.

Turbo is ordered.. Precision PT106CEA

Budget is pretty much blown, but apparently everything I am buying will cause cancer in CA, so... oh well !

What manual transmission you have?
I should finally get shortly PPG seq internals together with billet case, hope it holds 2000hp but will see. Test installations done, some milling must make to the case anymore before final installation.

Using an RPM TR6060 with ZR1 gearset, nothing fancy. I had to downgrade the rearend from ZR1 to Base model in order to get the gear ratio i needed as we got faster.

I have been following your build, hoping the billet trans works out!
