Default resleeve/ pistons and rods Ls7 or LSX

Hey guys recently I found out I can resleeve my LS7 for way less than I originally thought (1700-2200), therefore it got me thinking; do I want to resleeve my engine, get forged pistons and rods, keep stock crank and make 850-900whp. OR buy an LSX 427 and go that route. My car now is Heads/cam e85 and supercharged. Makes decent power but I am wanting just a bit more power without sacrificing reliability. My goals would be 900whp or so. I believe the resleeving my LS7 and get forged pistons/rods would be 1/2 the cost of an LSX, but not sure what my limit would be at that point vs just getting an LSX where I wouldn't have to worry.

go for the lsx for reliability. I have done the resleeving and I worked well for a long time but eventually it met its maker.

Solid LSX can be done for ~$7500. Sell stock motor for $3500-4000

Sleeving is $1700-2200, then add pistons, machine work, rods, etc etc and you will easily spend more.
