I usually will not go over 600 rwhp on 93, sometimes a little more depending on cam.

Is that typically because of charge temperatures associated with that boost level? Or rule of thumb based on average cylinder pressures?

Cylinder pressure vs. level of octane needed to ensure no knock

Interesting. I wonder how some OEM are getting away with higher power levels on 91/93. Low compression but blown hard and cool? 🤔

Or pistons, etc. designed for more power to begin with so they don't go boom at the first sign of knock.

Some use dual plugs, higher displacement, lower compression, etc etc. I don't keep up with much other than the GM world but it is def crazy what some cars are doing straight from the factory these days.

I made 839whp (loaded and corrected)(LS7@11.22:1) on 93/meth with a P1SC1 last Saturday. 3.7 pulley on an 8 rib kit. Sounds like it’s up to you how much you don’t want to make lol!

What was the correction factor then? That blower should do about 1200 CFM's. 837 at the wheels seems high.

dyno sheets and video are posted on a thread in the ZO6/ZR1 section. Here’s a link

SAE J1349

uncorrected and loaded it made 867whp/729wtq but I’m not really concerned with any of that, it’s damn fast that’s for sure. Now I need to work on “driver mod” seems to be what needs the most work lol

Max torque at 5900 rpm is rather unusual.

But it is what it is.

Seems to be similar to old dyno numbers on the car before I bought it and did the rebuild, so what are you saying is odd specifically?

still needs an auxiliary fuel system, the RPM’s are @ 6600 and we kept a 6800 rev limiter as well.

Well the numbers are finally in! We ran up against the clock today so I didn't have time to get a dyno graph (yet) but at the end of the day we made 756 / 697 @ 10 lbs on the ECS 1500 with stock pulley and no restrictor with 93 + meth. I couldn't be happier with the results and the car drives like stock, just with a LOT more power! Huge thanks to Joe @ Powertech Performance, Julio @ Alky Control, Gil @ A&S Motorsports, and the crews @ Vengeance Racing, Fore fuel systems, Monster clutch, and of course ECS for all of your help and support on this build!

Nice numbers! Heard good things about Powertech. The guy I bought my car off of had them do the work on it.

Makes me wanna up the boost on my ecs1500!
