Also, I'm pretty sure I will be going with the Race version of the Holley Sniper. I'm also looking at the new BTR intake but the Race Sniper is higher on my list. I will have the hood vented.

Fair like I said starting with a bigger turbine isn’t the end of the world at least then if you want more you can have a larger compressor wheel put in. Did you end up with a borg billet wheel or aftermarket?

I really like the BTR one. I think if I went aftermarket intake manifold it would be the btr or the highram. I know the sbe record holder is local to me and he uses a high ram so it works.

Forced Inductions has their own proprietary wheel, I believe. Running a true divided exhaust setup should also help spool from what I've read.

I like the way the BTR looks. The Sniper is odd looking. Availability may swing me over to the Sniper, or even the Hi Ram again.

BTR intake will be nice once it ever comes out. Obviously I like my Shearer intake, but it is way more expensive than those two. Proven to work great on turbos though.

Definitely going to be a hard decision on which intake to run. Looks like BTR already started shipping out pre-orders. Not sure how long that list is, though. The BTR is certainly the cheaper option of all 3.

Turbo has been ordered! Looks like I got a nice updated compressor wheel for no extra cost. They call it their Ver. 4. Supposed to flow a little more and spool a little quicker.

The sheetmetal intake would be a good piece for boost. What heads are you using and is the 5.3 an actual 5.3 or over-bored for LS7 heads?

You make too much you may have to go standalone I would think, 1200 would be knocking on that door.

actuall 5.3 with 243 cathedral heads.

People have made 2000whp in stock ecus. I think it’ll be alright.

Ah ok, I guess trying to keep it cheap? Wow I had no idea stock ECU's would be good for that. Send it. Everytime I think of grabbing a big ci LS and seeing the price just makes me want to go boosted lol. I cannot wait to see what you do with this. I take it you are or have sold the Hi-Ram?

Yes, trying to stick to a budget.

My tuner has called dibs on a few parts for his new build. The hi ram is one of them.

I’ve got a forced inductions T4 S480 w/.96 turbine, 1.25 A/R and billet ETR wheel. It has an intimidating sound and comes on like a pissed off gorilla. T6 it’s rated at 1350hp. T4 is over 1000

Helped a buddy pick up a setup he won through a raffle. SBE 5.3, hi ram, Huron single turbo kit, BW s475, and a few other odds and ends. It was a 10hr round trip. He hooked me up with the hot side from the kit. Should fit with some minimal modifications.

I also ordered my wastegates, and a few other little pieces. Still trying to find a good deal on an oil pan kit.

Ordered the CX Racing intercooler/radiator kit last night. Just ordered the Cortex boost controller.

Should be picking up the motor this week. Turbo may get here later this week or next week.

Yeah, this is their F-Body setup. It's going to need some modification. The pass side looks like it'll clear everything with no issues. The driver side looks like it will need some tweaking.
